A Day with Friends!

We got to spend a day at the zoo with Wendy, Makenna, and Chase. It was such a great day. There was no rush to be anywhere, no chores, no cooking. Just a fun with friends. We only had a couple minor temper tantrums and that usually involved getting them off the train or carousel, although the trip to the bathroom and changing room took like 30 minutes.
As usual, Makenna smiled for the camera every time, while we couldn't get Kira to even look at the camera let alone smile.
Looking at the elephants. What I love about this... is that there are two adult female elephants and a baby girl elephant, but Kira was saying how there was a Mommy, Daddy and Baby Elephants, and Makenna was saying that there was a Mommy, Daddy, and Makenna Elephant. Silly silly girls. In the Reptile and Small Animal Building.

I had to show a picture of these birds cause one decided to fly from one tree to another and nearly took off my head in the process.
Looking at the animals was not nearly as much fun as riding the train and carousel. The rode each of them over and...
over...

and over...AGAIN!

Kira and Makenna also had a lot of fun just playing together. Finding the animals in the paving stones...walking to the playground (which took like 20 minutes in its self, Slow Pokes!)...
Climbing in the log...Pretending to be turtles...and hatching from an egg! What can I say, it seems "Birds of a feather, flock together" and we definitely had a great time flocking together.
My only picture of Chase. Who was an absolute sweetheart. Was never a problem and slept most of the day. He is such a good baby and so adorable too. After the zoo we went to Wendy and Steve's new house, which is so cute and perfect for them. Congrats on such a great house and thanks for letting us come and see you!

SYTYCD!

Just a side note. My mom and I went to the SYTYCD tour on Wednesday it was a blast. Here are a few pics of a great evening with my Mom.

Pre-School Carnival!

Kira's School had a Carnival for Halloween. It was so cute and just the right age level for her. 1st they had a cute take home spider web project that she enjoyed putting together.Yes... I am Raggety Anne. Then she went and walked around the cake-walk. I like that they only got one cupcake instead of a whole cake.
We then went to the pirate room, where she got to color her own eye patch...

Go fishing...and get a tattoo!
Then story time!
It was a great carnival.

Thanks Tia for all the great pictures and helping me get into my costume.
--- Love Kira
