The Next Generation of Friends

Once Again; April, Aja, LeeAnne, Wendy and I got together to celebrate our friendship for the last umteen years! I think its like 13 years all of us have been friends, but not sure a long time! I hope it continues for another umteen and then some! We missed you Jen!

Wendy and I got together to help the friendship of the next generation! Kira and Makenna had so much fun together. They got out every toy Kira owns and then some! They also got into Kira's bed to take a nap together! Thanks for coming to play and such a wonderful day!

Happy Birthday Tia!

Cassidy Turned 23 this last week! She said it was the Birthday she has ever had and I am so glad. I hope they continue to just get better and better. Kira was excited because she once again got to help open presents!

Kira even sang Happy Birthday and I videoed it but it wouldn't upload so maybe next time!
Love you Tia!

Happy New Years!

While we really didn't do anything New Years Eve the whole rest of the weekend was a busy one.

Happy Birthday Heather!

As soon as we drove down to Moab we met up with family to Celebrate my Cousins Birthday! We had dinner at Pizza Hut and had to wait a long time, but for all that Kira and Kendal were really pretty good. They ran around a little but there were so many adults to play with they were entertained the whole time!
Feeding the Ducks
The next day we all got together to feed the Ducks. Kira loved the ducks and pulling her cousin around after her. Kira didn't even bother tearing up her bread for the ducks just gave it to them whole.

The Park!
After we fed the ducks we went to the park, where Kira had more fun picking up the sand and throwing it then going down the slide or swinging, While Kendal could have gone down the slide forever. Katelyn was a climber and climbed to the top of every toy on the playground!

Is it a Bird, A Plane, No it's the Super "K's"
For Christmas I made all the Girls a Super Hero Cape! Ironically all their names begin with the letter "K" They were really cute and we wanted a picture but ofcourse my child was the one who wouldn't put hers on!
Playing Games
While we were there we played games as much as possible. The girls were happy to entertain each other. They loved the rocking horse and would wrestle, but my favorite part was the snuggles on the couch afterward.
Saying Goodbye!
It was such a fun trip, looking forward to the next time we can come visit!

Christmas At Last...

Yeah!!! Christmas finally arrived! Kira was so excited to open presents she was bubbling with excitement. She was such a good helper by passing out all the gifts and helping everyone open their gifts too (weather they wanted it or not). It was a great time a bit strange since we opened presents at 3:00 in the afternoon on Christmas Eve, but oh well! Kira got so many toys she didn't know which ones to play with first! So she just kind of ran from one to the other playing with them for a sec before another toy caught her attention again!

After an exciting afternoon of opening gifts we drove down to Salt Lake to have dinner and open presents with family down there!
It was such a wonderful evening Kira was having such a great time that she didn't want to leave! It was a long but good day!

Santa's Helper

I got to help Santa this year by putting together Kira's Baby Crib. It had quite a few small parts... I know it seems super silly but it felt great to be struggling to put together a Baby Crib, while my little girl slept. I managed to do it all by myself and did Santa Proud!

Holiday Spirit!

Getting into the Holiday Spirit, Kira and I went to her schools Christmas Carnival! It was a lot of fun, Kira got to sit on Santa's Lap again...
Whom gave her a treat which she promptly began eating.
Yhen she got her face painted with a pretty star.
and a tattoo on her hand in the Milk Jug Igloo! Then we decorated a cookie with our favorite candies.
It was so much fun and I am grateful that she had an opportunity to do this with friends from her school!
