The Pumpkin Walk!

On Monday evening Kira, Gummy and I went to the Pumpkin Walk. It has been a few years since I have been, but they had some really great displays this year.

I have quite a few favorites... Bambi,
Winnie the Pooh scene,

but I think the one at the top of my list would have to be the Angry Birds Scene. I thought it was so clever. Kira had a good time looking at the pumpkins.

The funniest thing was when we went to the wood cut-outs. We went to Yoda first... Kira's head was small enough to slip right through, but unfortunately her ears were to big to slip back out.
She was really upset, but we were able to get her head out just fine. I thought she would be done with the cut outs, but she saw the toy story ones and had to put her head up to those.

We then went and saw the crazy pumpkin carvings... some people have way to much time. They were really cool, but required more patience than I possess.

Another great Halloween Tradition!

Moab!

We went to Moab this last weekend to re-model my Grandmothers kitchen. Pictures of the remodel to come. We were very busy all weekend getting the cabinets, counters, sink, faucet and a variety of other things installed in her Kitchen. But we were able to spend time with family as well. Kira and Kendal were instant friends and enjoyed playing together. Sometimes Kira was a little bossy and forceful, but for the most part shared really well. We played outside for a little, then went to the park. Thanks Heather for letting us baby-sit we had a great time.

Getting Ready For Halloween!

As some may know, Halloween is my Favorite Holiday! Not sure why, but I just love it. To get ready of course we need pumpkins! We have these great faces that can be interchanged into our pumpkins, which Kira can do and loves to change. Plus it was a great opportunity for me to test out my new camera!

Kira was really good about helping my mom put the pieces in the pumpkins.

Grandma has a lot more pumpkins than we do, but at least we have a few!

Home Coming Parade!

I know the USU Home Coming Parade was in September, but we had a little malfunction with the camera and all my pictures were blurry. There fore I got a new camera! Yeah!

I was able to get a few pictures from some friends. Kira was so funny and she looked so grown up in her LaShars T-shirt. She was so good and rode the float with me the whole time. Next year will be a blast when she can actually dance and perhaps when she is tired she won't hold my arms down to keep me from doing the hand routine. All the girls sitting on the truck!Natalie, Kylie and Me!
