Farm Animal Days!

I am totally hooked to Farm Animal Days, instead of the full Baby Animal Days. One Kira doesn't know what she missed out on and since there wasn't very many people she didn't have to wait in line and got to ride the ponies twice. It was a really great fun day!

Petting and Holding the Chicks and Ducks!

 and the Bunnies!

Then we walked around to the other farm animals. The cows...
 Lambs...
Kira is getting so brave! She went a petted the lamb without me! Such a big Girl!
 Pigs...

  and the Goats!

What a great Morning! Busy summer already!

Treehouse Museum!

We have discovered a fun new place to take Kira in Ogden! It's called the Treehouse Museum! It was one of the most amazing places I have ever been! There were so many fun activities for the kids to do. Parents and Kids would have a hard time not finding something fun to do there. There were dress-ups, books, interactive toys, puzzles, dolls, on and on....

The Train Station!

The Rodeo and Farm Area!

The Mongolian Hut! The carving work done was amazing!

Just off the coast of Japan!

The Percussion Section!

Doctor Kira at work in the Hospital Nursery!

The Knight and old Shakespearan Section!
Just another Pawn in the game!
Queen Kira giving orders all day long!
Kira is out to save the day!
Finally getting tired, just sitting quietly putting her puzzle together.

We were there for two hours, running from one section to another. Kira had so much fun she didn't want to leave. In each section they had pretend food that Kira kept feeding to me and my Mom after two hours of pretending to eat we were so ready for lunch! Kira fell asleep right after lunch it was one of the easiest nap times ever.

Broken Things!

So a Couple of weeks ago! Kira was playing with me and she jumped on me and her forehead hit my nose, it hurt a lot and I knew I would have a bad bruise on it. I didn't touch it for a long time cause it hurt too much... after a few days I was checking to see how it was feeling when I discovered an extra hard bumpy part. BONE!

Yup Kira broke my nose! and bruised the bottom. OOPS!

More Egg-citing Fun!

So after Easter in Moab, Kira had some more Easter fun waiting at home.

Papa was so Egg-cited! He went a little crazy and hid like 50 some eggs around the yard. Kira got bored at around 30. Kira read some more books with Gummy, but really had the most fun hiding in the outside cupboard!

Easter Weekend

We drove down to Moab for Easter this year! Kira was so excited to see her cousins Kendal and Katelyn (yeah a lot of Ks we were all tongue tied by the end of the trip). They had so much fun together and busy fun filled weekend with lots of walks, playing at the park, and of course Easter stuff.

This is the park down over by my grandmothers. Dean and I like to take Kendal and Kira there when we come to visit. It's quiet and just enough fun stuff for them to do.
Kendal and Dean
Kira and Kendal on the Merry-Go-Round. This picture makes me laugh and reminiscent of when Heather and I were young, because we always got twinner outfits and hers was always blue and mine was always pink. This was an accident but still funny!

The rest of the afternoon they were practically inseparable!
Eating their apples on the step!
Learning to share colored pencils and not succeeding. I love the stare down!
Watching a movie together!

The Next morning we all got up and went to the park for a City Easter Egg Hunt. It was crazy how many kids were there. It began at 10:05 and was finished at 10:10. Kira was able to get quite a few eggs. Kendal got some too, not as many as Kira but that hardly mattered. The parents were so funny to watch, some would plop their children down in the middle of some eggs and start tossing eggs at them, others would drag their toddlers along, I decided to let my child find and pick up her own eggs.Mom and Kira

After the Hunt we dyed eggs at my grandmothers. Katelyn really enjoyed it because Kira and Kendal were only marginally interested, so she got most of the eggs to dye.

The Easter Bunny was very busy he brought Kira lots of fun new toys! She got dinosaurs, ducks, night gown and books.
She was super excited about her basket!
Reading her new books with Gummy!

One last Easter Egg hunt with Kira, Katelyn and Kendal! They had so much fun finding and hiding the eggs we had at least 4 egg hunts this weekend.

Saying Goodbye!

It was time to go home at last, but it was hard on everyone we had such a great time we didn't want it to end.
