Mom and Kira

I needed some pictures for a book for Kira, so we got dressed up one Sunday and off we went. My mom took these great pictures.

                           Thanks Mom!

Always a Party!

Family events with my Dad's side of the family are always a big event. I love that we all are so different each on our own walk through life in our own very special ways. Never Boring that is for sure!

Kira had such a great time with her cousins. She wasn't feeling very good, but perked right up when she got to play with them.

Kira had started getting whiny and she needed some down time, so I let her watch a movie! But I think Mara and Bell enjoyed it just as much, if not more than she did.

It was also Lamont's Birthday, we had not just one cake but 3 and they were all delicious. Mix-up in the bakery and his cake ended up being pink, but he was man enough to handle it.

We ofcourse had to have some family photos.

So tired after a long and eventful day.

School Pro!

Kira has been ready to go back to Pre-School for a couple weeks now! We were getting ready to go one morning and she walked out of her bedroom all ready! It was such a disappointment for her to only be going to her Papa's House!

So the day finally arrived! She was soooo excited! It was difficult to get her to stand next to the sign  to get a picture because she just wanted to go inside and play with her friends. When we got in there she was acted like she knew all about what school was about. Went and sat down next to her friends and totally forgot to give me a hug or a kiss and while I was talking to her teacher she called to me "MOM! You can go!"
She amazes me at how big she is getting!

Spoiled? Oh yes, VERY!!!

Kira's Birthday has finally arrived! She spent the last week and half celebrating... 1st friend party at Aja's, treats at dancing, family dinner with dad and now dinner and presents with Gummy, Papa and Tia!

That morning we went shopping and Kira of course had  to wear her Super Hero outfit! Then we met up with Renee, Eve, Theron, Lindsay, Ella and Colin to play at McDonald's. Kira had a blast! I hope we can get with them again to play it was so fun for both of us.
We of course went to dinner at El Toro Viejo! Which is one of our favorite restaurants. Kira wore the traditional pink sombrero and actually tolerated it this year and blew out her one candle!

We then went back to my parents house so Kira could open up the the large pile of presents!

Giving Papa Kisses, because he got her 5 horses!

Kira got a whole box of duckies from her Tia.

Good thing Papa made a shelf for them all, except I think it is already too small!
And a Kitchen set from her Gummy! I think Kira wants to be a waitress when she grows up! She will scribble an order on a pad of paper and then go cook the food and come back and serve it us! Amazingly I seem to order coffee and chicken pizza every time!

Happy 3rd Birthday my beautiful girl!

Dancing Class!!

I am pretty sure the adults at my house were much more excited for Kira to go to dance than she actually was herself!
Since her first class was a day before her birthday she was able to ope two presents early! She got her shoes, tights, leotard, and skirt from me and a dance bag from her Gummy.

Documenting every Moment!

Finally at the studio! She was so ready, she didn't need or necessarily want me with her! She ran right over as soon as it was time for class and sat down with the other girls!

 Doing the Fishy Dance!
 Helping with the Mats!

Kira got to be line leader very first!
 Big Frog Jumps!

Sitting down at the end, so Kira can hand out her Birthday Treat!

Very First Class with Teachers Natalie and Savannah!
I am so lucky to know all these wonderful people at LaShars and to send my beautiful little girl to dance there. I know she will find friendship and family like I did so many years ago!

A Birthday With Friends

WARNING! PICTURE OVERLOAD!
It was time for our Summer High-School Friend Reunion (need to come up with a better name). This year we decided to go to Aja and Mario's House for the evening. It was such a great idea. They have such a fun back yard all fenced in, bathroom close, shade and food; what else do you need?
Kira and I went down early that day to help with decorate Emma's Room. It was so nice to spend the day with Aja, Sam, and Emma. It was quiet and relaxing, other than a couple of accidents! Sorry Aja!
Later that evening Wendy and LeeAnne were able to come. It was super cute, the girls shared a little table while the boys sat at the card table.
Cute Chase!
Emma and Dylan!
First off, Kira is obsessed with Iron Man! This is her Super Hero of choice, mainly because her cousin Kade who is a little older is also obsessed with him. So in honor of her obsession we had a Super Hero themed party. So after dinner we had each of the kids decorate their own Super Hero Masks and they each got a cape!

Our Cute Little Super Heros!

Aftger they were all ready, each of our Heros needed to save the fish and whales from a horrible blob that had taken over the swimming pool! Some of our Heros were brave and dove right in, while others were more timid about getting mixed up with the blob.

After we managed to save all the poor creatures from the blob and got cleaned up ourselves it was time for to sing and blow out the candles! Everyone got into helping blow out the candles!

While the cupcakes were delicious most of the kids were more interested in their Iron Man rings.

After all the shaving cream excitement we let the kids play and the adults finally had a moment to sit and talk. Ironically we talked about the dangers of keeping our kids up late, which was exactly we all did. Well it was well worth it to me!

Thanks Girls for another wonderful Reunion!
Oh and thanks for posting first, and yes I stole a few pics. :) Thanks again!
