All the Pretty Lights!

We went to Willard for the first time to see the lights in the Campground. They were so much fun and Kira kept pointing at all the figures and telling me what they were. She really like the Dinousaurs... RAAARRR!

Then after we went through in our car once we went over to get on the Horse and Trailer Ride. Next time we need to bring more blankets. Kira loved being pulled by the Horsies, she thought that was fun and it was to be able to go back through and see the lights from a different perspective.

After the trailer ride we went into the pavillion and had some hot chocolate. Kira then got to sit stand close to Santa but she didn't want to sit on his lap. When asked what she wanted for Christmas she promptly replied "Cheese and Captain Crunch" and Yes I do feed my child on a regular basis.

Trees, Trees, and a House!

So we will never be on Cake Boss for our decorating skills, but we had a great time none the less.
Kira, Gummy and I made trees, while Cass was the only brave one to continue making a house. Kira had a great time squishing the pieces together and eating the frosting.
Kira really is smiling. We are still working on it, but she feels that if she scrunches up her face she looks happy.

It's Beginning to Look a Lot like Christmas!

Kira got home from a trip with her dad on Saturday! I was able to pick her up that evening, I was/am so glad to have her home. She has such a great effect on my mood and overall temperment. I waited until she got home to put up the christmas tree. We started early Sunday Morning. My Mom, Sister and Dad all came over to help. I am doing a white tree with red, white and Lime green ornaments. Kira was interested in it, but really started having fun when we started to decorate her own ornaments to put on her own pink tree which she gets to have in her room. She likes to have the lights on the minute we get home, and move the ornaments around.

Then we went and hung out at Gummy and Papa's all day in our Jammies. What a great day!

Gingerbread Madness!

Festival of Trees without Kira was anticlimactic. The trees were beautiful and everyone danced well, it just didn't have that magic and excitement from a kids point of view. Although every year I stand in Awe of the Gingerbread Houses. I can't even the amount of time and patience required to make one of the creations.

Thank's for Giving!

So we went to Salt Lake to visit family. It was such a lovely evening, Kira played with her cousins and the adults sat and talked. We were to able go upstairs and see my Tio JG and Tia Francis. As always she held herself in such grace and warmth, even though her battle with cancer has been a hard one. Thank you to all my family for their giving of time and memories, (as well as some pretty delicious food!)
Kira and her Entourage!
What do you think? Way to many cooks in the Kitchen?
