Happy Birthday, Mommy!
I once again celebrated getting older, but it doesn't bother me. Because each year seems to get better and better with Kira. It started out really great! Kira and I just got ready for the day as usual and then went outside to play in our yard!

Later that day, I had Pizza with my family and we played a round of cards! I lost! Hmm ever hear of letting the Birthday Girl Win! We then had Ice-cream for desert. Simple but a really nice day!
Most of my presents I had seen prior except my sisters gift, which was wrapped in a shawl, typical wrapping paper (at least it wasn't a towel)! Which was a Playstation 2! I can now play my guitar hero games again. Yeah!!! I also got two chairs and a table for my yard!
A beautiful vase from the Summer Fest! And new pants from Kira.
After our card game, I went home and played Guitar Hero with Cass and Kira!

It Was a "Grand" Father's Day!
Kira loves her Papa!
He is the best thing and usually trumps even Mom. So for father's day we went out to breakfast at Angie's, where Kira ate just about as much as me. The little bottomless pit is growing so much it freaks me out. Kira gave her Papa, two DVD's "The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes" and "Darby O'gill and the Little People" if you don't know what they are, they are super old Disney movies.

Swim Lessons
This week Kira and I started swim lessons or Water Babies class at the Aquatic Center. It's a half-hour long and is very fun. Kira's teacher's name is Jay. We as parents do most of the learning, as they help us learn ways of making our children more comfortable in the water, how to teach them to blow bubbles, to put their faces in the water, and that it's ok to splash. She also helps us to teach them cues as to when to jump in the water, so that they are more safe in general.
Kira has some ducks for playtime.

This was a while ago, but Kira and I met Makenna and Wendy at the mall for a little play time. They are so interactive, its the cutest thing ever. They had a lot of fun playing on all the toys!
The Ice-cream Sandwich is their favorite hangout spot!
So as they got more and more used to each other. They were at the edge of the play area, babbling away at each other like they completely understood what the other was saying. They kept looking back at Wendy and I with mischevious little grins. Makenna grabbed Kira's hand gave us another quick look, then both took off running down the mall.
Good thing they have little legs. We caught them right quick! As far as battles go I would call that one a draw!
