Finally Up-to-Date
Whoa, I made it. I am finally up-to-date. Sorry about the blog overload, but only just barely had the time to do it.
Family Dinner
This last weekend, my family and I drove down to Salt Lake to have dinner with my Dad's Family. It was a great time. Kira was able to see many people she hadn't before and I was able to see family I hadn't seen in 13 to 15 years. My Aunt Monica and Aunt Kim were there and it was so pleasant talking with them. We ate at the Red Lobster and basically took up a good portion of the restaurant. Ofcourse we were loud and boistrous my family is never quiet. We were there for about 3 hours, but that wasn't nearly long enough to catch up on everything that has happened in all that time. It was also Hideo's Birthday, so we sang to him in english and in spanish ofcourse. The food was really good, I had never eaten at Red Lobster before. Kira was passed arround the table and seemed to be having a great time. She zonked on the drive home, so we must have wore her out completely. All of us sitting arround the table.Hideo, Breanna and Juliet enjoying their food.Leslie, Kim and RobertGathered together to catch up on all the latest pictures and contact information.Cassidy and Kira enjoying eachothers company
Michael, Kira, Monica, Leslie and Robert.
I am so happy we had the opportunity to go and visit. It was such a great time. My Grandmother would have been so happy that her family is trying to stay together. I know that she was there in spirit watching over us.

21 and A Half
We went out to eat for Cass' Birthday. She is now the big 21. We went to firehouse, which was really good they ended up giving us a free meal. Kira got to sit in a high chair for the second time. She did much better this time she wasn't sliding all over the place.
Later on we went home and did cake and ice-cream. Cass talked my mom into buying candles that looked like a two and a one so that we can use them later for Kira (Grandma's are such suckers for those kind of things). But we also learned that if Aunt Cassidy is 21 Kira is a 1/2. It was quite cute so we celebrated both at the same time.
So Congrats to Cassidy for turning 21 and for Kira nearly being 1/2.
Bunny Habits
Kira has also got to start eating her Vegetables. We started with carrots. She is not so sure about them. Even now when it has been a couple weeks she still looks at them with some concern. She doesn't mind eating no, but everytime she takes a bite she looks at me like "What is this, this isn't my rice cereal." Her First try at carrots. Then Mama Dana tried to feed her and mostly got it all over the place, we had to give her and Kira a bath later.Kira has also gotten a new door jumper. Now she doesn't have any reservations about it. She loves it. Mind you her attention span only last maximum 20 min, but for 20 min I have some peace. She looks so little compared to the little girl on the box. So now that my little girl is eating her carrots and jumping all over the place, I need to sign her up to be the Easter Bunnies assistant.
Friend Reunion
A couple times a year, friends from highschool try to get together to catch up and see all our children. Next year for sure the kids will outnumber the adults. I have no doubt. It was a really fun evening reminiscing about all the strange things we did for fun and our knack for making sure we had pictures of it. We laughed and joked and had a great time.
Sam playing on the floor at Aja's feet. Alyse sitting at Jen's feet, looking arround at the world and taking it all in.Wendy, Makenna, Tamri, Isaic, and Mark talking and playing with the toys.
Mario and Sam. Kira and I in the background.
First photo with our kids. Not everyone was there yet but we got a good picture anyways.
Here we all are from the top left. Carlos, LeeAnne and not yet born baby Lucas, Carlitos, April, Jordon, Aja, Mario, Steve, Tamri, Elsie, Mark, Jen, Me, Tom, Makenna and Wendy. The other kids were either sleeping or playing elsewhere. Thanks Aja for such a great time and all the yummy food.

Christmas at Home
When we got home we opened our presents. Kira was so tired she slept right through it, but she got a lot of really cute things. She got a bear that is bigger than her from my dad, some movies she will like later, a cute outfit and some music.I got a picture frame for Kira's Angel pics. As well as a popcorn popper, movies, a gym membership, picture that Cass drew and a new purse. My dad got a DVD player. He has only been whining about not having one for a month or so. Puzzle book and a Picture Frame showing pictures of Bolivia. My mom as usual got several nativity scenes. This year she got one from Japan. She also got a painting Cassidy made and pictures of Kira. Cassidy got a snuggle blanket, and lots and lots of movies. Those are really her thing. She also got a TV along with my Dad its huge but works well for them.
Christmas Morning
Kira went over to the Hansens to open gifts and have breakfast at Grandma and Grandpa Clarks. They had a really good time. There were gifts everywhere. Kade really liked his toy stereo, we got him. He was dancing to it when I got there.
Kira like her new ball, it sings to her as well as rolls around on the floor.
Going Down to Moab
Then we got ready to go down to Moab. Kira was such an Angel through the whole trip. She slept almost the whole way. Although as soon as we got there she was wide awake and ready to play.
She had a good time playing with her cousin Katelyn. We spent the weekend there. It was a nice to get away for a couple of days. We didn't do much but I think that is what made it so nice.
Time to say goodbye. And that was the end of our Christmas Celebrations. On to the next one.
Christmas eve we went to the mall and Kira got the opportunity to sit on Santa's Lap. She also tried to rip off his beard but otherwise seemed to think he was ok.
Then as a continuation to that evening we went down to Salt Lake and had dinner with Tio JG, Tia Francis and Bell. It was a quiet but really pleasant evening. We opened a few presents and talked. We headed home soon after.
