My First Christmas

Santa

Christmas eve we went to the mall and Kira got the opportunity to sit on Santa's Lap. She also tried to rip off his beard but otherwise seemed to think he was ok.

Christmas at JGs

Then as a continuation to that evening we went down to Salt Lake and had dinner with Tio JG, Tia Francis and Bell. It was a quiet but really pleasant evening. We opened a few presents and talked. We headed home soon after.

Christmas at Home

When we got home we opened our presents. Kira was so tired she slept right through it, but she got a lot of really cute things. She got a bear that is bigger than her from my dad, some movies she will like later, a cute outfit and some music.I got a picture frame for Kira's Angel pics. As well as a popcorn popper, movies, a gym membership, picture that Cass drew and a new purse. My dad got a DVD player. He has only been whining about not having one for a month or so. Puzzle book and a Picture Frame showing pictures of Bolivia. My mom as usual got several nativity scenes. This year she got one from Japan. She also got a painting Cassidy made and pictures of Kira. Cassidy got a snuggle blanket, and lots and lots of movies. Those are really her thing. She also got a TV along with my Dad its huge but works well for them.
Christmas Morning

Kira went over to the Hansens to open gifts and have breakfast at Grandma and Grandpa Clarks. They had a really good time. There were gifts everywhere. Kade really liked his toy stereo, we got him. He was dancing to it when I got there.

Kira like her new ball, it sings to her as well as rolls around on the floor.
Going Down to Moab

Then we got ready to go down to Moab. Kira was such an Angel through the whole trip. She slept almost the whole way. Although as soon as we got there she was wide awake and ready to play.

She had a good time playing with her cousin Katelyn. We spent the weekend there. It was a nice to get away for a couple of days. We didn't do much but I think that is what made it so nice.

Time to say goodbye. And that was the end of our Christmas Celebrations. On to the next one.
